Always pure

We think that the word “pure” is often over-used. But not by us. Our fibers are pure because they aren’t mixed with synthetics, they’re pure because they aren’t mixed or treated with anything that can harm you.

All hessnatur pure cotton is 100% organic. Over 50% of our silk is organic. 20% of our linen and wool are organic. But, and this is really important, all of our fabrics are completely pure and natural. Our fibers that are not grown or produced on organic farms have a strict environmental manufacturing process. Many companies that say their fabrics are natural are referring to the fact that they’re silk or cotton or wool. In other words, they’re not synthetic. But that doesn’t mean they haven’t been treated with harmful chemicals during the manufacturing process. When we say “pure”, we mean just that.

We don’t use any dyes, finishes or other chemicals that can harm your health or the environment. We test all our finished products for any remaining toxins, ensuring that these measurements are within our strict standards. We have independent certification organizations conduct tests as well.

So hessnatur fabrics are not only good for the planet, they’re good for you and your baby. There are no toxins that can harm sensitive skin or cause rashes.
