Our People

There is a German word, difficult to translate. It’s “Hingabe”. Devotion or passionate commitment are as close as we can come to its meaning in English. At hessnatur, “Hingabe” is a value of what we are and the measure we use in choosing the people who work here. Of course, intelligence, a solid work ethic and excellence in skills are essential considerations. But, for us, they aren’t enough. When a company is created on the principles of making the world healthier, respecting the rights of all who live here and consistently seeking the purest materials, the requirements of employment have to meet those principles.

If that sounds a bit high-minded, too serious or ridiculously idealistic, you should stop by for lunch. We like to think we’re great fun. We certainly have great fun. There is a joy that comes from knowing that what you do for a living actually provides a better life for others. Including your own family and friends. And by getting to know us, we hope you’ll see us as your friend.  After all, isn’t “Hingabe” something we all want in our friends?
